problems...

I have a 400mhz voodoo 3 (3000 agp 16mb) 288ram, my trpg performance i pretty bad, any tips other than upgrading to solve this (changing graphical settings does squat)? Also are there any other maps available and is there any possibility of the players getting attack animations, other than the swords just moving ( this will prolly just make me run worse )? what have these latest patches added, so far i cant see alot extra (i havent played for some time)?

None of that is supposed to be a put down by any means, this is one of the most ambitious and impressive mods for any game ever, so i guess i may be expecting a little too much, i just think i may have done something wrong or missing some vital file...

thanks.

I have a 700 mhz with 32 meg voodoo4. I STILL get a little lagginess when I look at the whole k-town , and in certain spots. The only thing you can do is tone down your graphics settings. I can live with the little lag that I get when I look at certain spots (there arent very many) so I leave mine up, but you could try lowering you resolution a little bit, and turning down your graphics settings a little. I dont know if your having trouble with the landscape or the decals or what , so just play wiht your settings a little and you should be able to get it running to semi-lag free. Another thing you could do, is close down any un-needed prgrams such as ICQ, AIM, mIRC. If this doesnt work, the only other option you have is to upgrade. If you do upgrade, you would probably want to start out with a better graphics card and see how it works.

In FPS-killing zones (espcially K-town) look at the ground while walking, if you know where you're going. Your FPS will shoot up when you do that.
