This is soooo anoying!

Ok....I think it might be my 64 mb ram but doubtful.

I have trouble getting in the MR-TRPG server i play on all the time...i close every program that im running before i even open tribes up and i can get in ever now and then...but usually it loads all the way till it says "get ready to rock and roll!" then after about a minute...it goes back to the servers screen and it says...."Connection to server timed out" WTF is with that...i takes me a total of like 30 minutes to get in that damn server but every other server i get in just fine ?????????????????


Does it have something to do with the number of people in the server? I dont know....PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

It's your 64 ram.

Get 128 at the VERY least. 256 is better.

I have cable modem so i think it IS my gay slow computer! lol
I never had trouble before but tonight it will just not let me in the server...



I can get in other servers just fine

TribesRPG is a ram intensive game do to the multiple objects in the game. And a few large objects. Also I found it easier to connect when the TRPG picture didnt load. (note: I have 2 computers one a 400mhz with 64 ram and one 600 mhz with 128 * 3 megs of ram.)
the 400 will only connect when the picture doesnt load. Try that. Otherwise get more ram.

It only started to act up like this now.... :(

It used to get in the server just fine...

if it is the ram..then try to feel up as much memory as possible
i not talking about normal windows and programs...
im talking about hidden windows and such
u can config ur computer to shut down these programs
by running msconfig and going to the startup tab and unchecking what u think u dont need running
