I just received this email. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

When trying to start a server with rpgserv.exe, I get this error:

Run-time error '380'

Invalid Property Value

If you or anyone you know can help, please reply!

Post Runtime error

Possibly a conflict with the old version and the new beta. If a person wants to save the old RPG file folder, they should rename it to some else (ie. "oldrpg") or move it totally out of the tribes directory. The beta ONLY should be installed in the rpg file folder. When you run rpgserver.exe it will automatically default to that directory. If the old version is in there or any duplicate old files, it could cause the problem.
Try it and repost results.

I'm not too sure that tribes, or tribesRPG use non-proprietry run-time libraries at all (such as things like vbrun300.dll) but it *REALLY* sounds like a DLL file, or another module like this is missing.

I would use FOAD's suggestion, chances are one of your libraries is the OLD one, instead of the new.

Post Is this a person that does not have the beta?

If it is then there RPGserv is messed up and you can go to the forum and click search(words) and type in rpgserve.exe and find the thread with JI's fix in it.

If they do have the beta than FOAD and Mir's suggestions are probably right. My Rpgserv.exe only worked after i downloaded it from the thread on the old forum.
