This stinks

This stinks it wont let me download the version 4.897 because after it gets down to a few hours it says operation timed out! And further more my dad tryed to download it at work and it locked up after it almost got done!!!3times!!!!Does anyone know if they can help me? o and one more thing everytime i try to go to change avatars i get one of "This program has preformed an illegal operation and will be taken care of" :(
