Question Time out

I edited the map, it works. added a new town and some bots. Most everyone can get on and play, I say most. Two of my admins can nolonger get on to the game, it tells them time out. If I switch the map to the OE map they can get back on. All the people that play on my server love the additions, hate to go backwards. Anyone got an Idea why most can get on but some time out?

Ask them there computer specs.. If they only have 64 MB of ram then it would be hard, they should close un-needed programs go to start, run, and put in msconfig.exe and press ok... This can select what runs when you start your computer up. Taking any of this stuff off won't hurt their computer and save more RAM. Also if you have ICQ that is a big RAM eater.. And they should enter your server when they start up Tribes not after a game or anything. And if they time out then they should restart tribes.

Unhappy Time Out

All this was already tried. One of the computers belong to me, and it has 256k ram is a 333 p2 celeron but still times out. I have tried to lower the packits on the server but still can't get the computer on. It seems the addition of Remort Town has made the map to big for the system to handle. We also tried the computer at 480X640 and still no luck.

Also note that it can take quite awhile to actually get in a server.. It has taken me about 8 trys to get into a normal TRPG server.
