I did? The Jewel doesn't work that way. It doesn't shoot out a holy beam of healing light. It works subtle, as if casting a blessing... A member of the Quest couldn't possibly die right by it.

What in Phen's name was he thinking?

Ileni was roughly awoken by the Esquire shaking her shoulder. "Hmmm...wha....?" Saere pointed at the blacksmith's retreating back. "He's going on vacation for two weeks, didn't he tell you?" Ileni blinked, stunned. Over Saere's shoulder she could see a horde of goblins squirting out of the mine like gel out of a toothpast tube. A slow burn built in the bottom of her stomach. Determination set her jaw. With a mighty roar, she lept to her feet. Grabbed her oak staff and charged......after H'Dero. Catching up to him in three strides, she swung her staff, hard! THWUNK!!! H'Dero's body crumpled as his eyes crossed. Suitcase and tickets flew through the air and landed with a WHUMP! BUMP! WHAP! THUD! tumbling over themselves into the ravine below. "HA!" Said Ileni, wiping her hands in satisfaction. She turned back to the now-swarming Goblins below the mine. "COME GET SOME!" she yelled and waited for some more fun.
