NeverQuest is now running with 512MB RAM and version 8.0 Direct X (http://www.microsoft.com/directx/)

Standard Stats: P III 550MHz, Elsa Gladiac GeForce2, 30 Gig HD, QDI Legend Mainboard, BlackIce Defender, Sony CDU771 32X CD ROM, Creative AWE64 Sound Card, and USB SBC's.

OC3 Cable service on a Business 1Mbps d/l, and 500Kbps u/l.

Riddle Me this Fatman...How come everyone says this server rocks over all the others....it's not a great big 'ol Athlon or T-Bird....I know why. Do you?

JI & PoG's is a measly P3 450 with 128 megs of RAM

However, Official Beta 1 is a 1.2GHz with 512 megs of RAM and a 2 40 GIG UDMA5 HD's in RAID

Thats ugly...
I have an ADSL, at 1.5Mbit d/l, and 640kbit u/l, and believe me, it aint that fast.
thats roughly 188kb/s, and 70kb/s

to convert Mbps, or Kbps (Megabits per second)
into MB/s or KB/s (MegaBYTES per second)
you have to divide by 8... 1500kbps (1.5Mbit) /8 = ~187.5 kilobytes/second

although I still get as high as 300 some days.

What do you pay for that FOAD?
