Do you have Presto? It has a elf anti-spam (i think)..so it may be doing that w/ the You hit blah blah

I always remember this happening. Its more noticible if you have 2 or 3 runts swinging at you at the same time. I don't think its presto related.

Ya, I dont have presto and it would be annoying as hell to see the messages, but I am pretty sure you still get the skill. He just limited the chat msgs in YOUR box
