I once used to play those telnet based text RPG games. One of them, called Dragon Swords, had a neat system. They had somethign called "Alignment". The farther you got towards -1000 you were more evil. You got more evil by killing what are considered harmless bots. The closer you got towards +1000 you were good, from killing evil bots. And the thing was, there were weapons for the "good", and weapons for the "bad". Depending on how extreme your alignment was, it did different amounts of damage. And also, if you had good alignment, and used a "evil" weapon, it would sting you, until you dropped it, causeing small amounts of HP loss. This was also the other way around. I thought that this would add a nice twist to Tribes RPG.
(Came up with this idea with the help of ScrewedUp (aka Malicious, a non-beta tester)

I kinda like this idea.... Get evil by killing bots that are not your level. or... get Evil by killing unhelpful newbies... >=] EVIL STEVIE!

That would be great idea, and you would get "good" from evil by killing bots near your lvl.

AND

Maybe if you #steal and stuff you get evil......and if your to evil you can't goto a protected zone!!

Kind of nice idea. What if a thief steals from you and you then pk him to get your stuff back? I think this is a good act not a bad.

Well, stealing isnt always a bad thing, and being evil also isnt a bad thing. You know, Robin hood was a thief, but he was a good guy right? And on that game I used to play, the best weapon required you to have an evil alignment.

Also, harmless bots dont have to be lower than your level. On this game, there were like peasant bots, and stuff, that were considered good. There were also Beastly Fidos, who were evil, and Vagabonds, etc.
