-Hidden Packs- a new kind of pack that would have no model, just a spark that would shine on a given interval.
Quest Masters would be able to create hidden packs and set the interval for the spark.
Players would be able to use #hidepack that would work like #createpack.
#hidepack would have a hiding skill requirement and the interval of the spark would depend on the hiding skill.

-New store method- instead of talking to the merchant and getting the generic inventory screen,
items would be sitting on shelves in the store.
Then you could look at them and hit consider and it would give you the #w screen for that item.
Then you push consider again and the merchant would tell you "How many do you want?" or something, you say a number and it buys them.

Even better:
You could say a number, and the items would go into a pack at the counter, you pick all the items you want and they go into the pack.

Then when you're done shopping, you talk to the merchant, he says "Your total is X coins. Will that be all?" if you say yes, you pay and you get added to the packs share list, if you say no, you continue shopping, if you dont have enough coins, he says "Come back when you have some money" and your pack of groceries disappears.

Also, if you leave the store, your groceries would have to disappear. not sure how to do that.

frame rate wouldnt be too bad if the shop models were made correctly. The models on the shelf would be different than the models that you hold, and you could make them only visible from a short distance. And for stuff like armor, there might be a big fully modeled suit of armor for full plate, but the rest would just be flat box like things that were textured to look like armor.

One problem would be selling stuff. But there could just be another bot running a pawn shop that you sell stuff too (pawn shop would explain the low prices too). He could be done right now, just a merchant that doesnt have anything to sell.

There are two corners in Keldrin City that are only accessable with WWs, I think it would be nice to have 2 "secret" merchants there and they sell some smithed item weapons (especially arrows and feathers) this way newbies can ask more stuff from the higher levels

tribes 2 is supposed to have 3d studio max 3 plugins to convert the models. 3d studio can import .dfx files, which many other 3d programs can export. i made these: http://system32.homestead.com/files/models.jpg in ray dream studio 5. Hopefully they will convert with out much fuss.
