Some problems with Tribes crashing when RPG is being played could be that inexperienced people get curious and start tampering with vital TRPG files.

What I am suggesting is that all of the different files be put into one volumized file. For example, the weapon .dts and skin files could go into weaponskins.vol, the waves could go into waves.vol, etc.

sounds simple, and yet just complicated enough to discourage Newbies from tampering to much

Of course it is a bit of a hastle for the programers and what not that are involved in that

If the source of the problem can be rooted back to that you got my vote support,

this is a little offtopic but ill post anyways...

JI (or anyone who might know how), you should whip up a program in visual basic that automatically download and extracts the update for you. Kinda like the auto-update thing for tribes
