I asked a friend of mine if he had a few waves, so he sent a few over... 768!

These are waves from a medieval game, I think I was Lords Of Realm II.

Many of the waves are like from people speaking, like talking to the Bishop and the Baron and such.. I think you could use those for RPG/voices or maybe the merchants and bankers could talk to you when you say "hi" to them.

Plenty of it is useable, I just gotta figure out how to compress 768 wave files *gulp.*

no mp3's please...

convert them to 22khz mono 8 bit, that's how all RPG sounds/music are. Then zip em up, and I'll make you a FTP account where you can upload em, just let me know when you have the zip ready to go.

.wav is the extension TRIBES uses... so does T2

Also, Ji or Alaric.. Perhaps you can make so we can attach more than one thing? The limit can be the same, but maybe 2 or 3 attachments instead of 1?

I found that from the Sound Directors at Sierra.. turns out that one day they were really bored and made this little song to cheer themselves up!

This is now my official Mining Song. Something to make the long and hard job of mining a little bit more entertaining.

Yup,

i listened to that song for a half hour... the disco has gotten to me... Sierra guys did the same thing with WarCraft 2... it was great i cant remember where i got the Warcraft one from though
