#onhear "hi" gets triggered by any word with hi in it (thing, this, ****, etc.). The event should only be triggered by "hi" by itself or hi at the beginning followed by a space.
so these would work:
"hi"
"hi jacko"
"hi alkhglakh"
and these wouldnt:
" hi"
"thing"
"aslagkjd hi"

We also need a way to get unknown values from #onhear. Like when a bot asks you how many of something you want or who you want arrested ;-)
We also need a way to only accept statements from a specific person, so other people cant run up and interrupt your conversation.
something like :
#onhear name radus keep all/targetname var/"text"

e.g. #onhear jacko 5 false %1 var >#setvelocity %1 0 0 ^var

var means just take whatever the target says.

instead of %1 how about put a # if you want a number and C if you want a letter with no quotations?

#onhear jacko 10 false # >#call testblock ^var#
#onhear jacko 10 false C >#call testblock ^varChar
kinda like that.

no for several reasons

- in this case, the %1 represents a variable (hopefully someones name) that has been passed into the block where the #onhear statement is

-I believe that having another # in the middle of the statement would screw up the parsing

-Ji tells me that you wouldnt need to distinguish between numbers and characters anyway
