Heeeyyy Goldy i got the thing aligned correctly!

Now i just need you to make it look nice :P

Gimmie some feedback about how I did with it.

Somehow the .gif looks not right at the rpg logo part... i dunno.. maybe i shouldn't use so many frames building up to the most intense glare of the rpg logo.. dunno..

But the frames are all there, if you feel that the image doesn't like right, you don't need to make any drawing adjustments. Just rearrange the delay and the frame order.

Need some special effects too, :P

Why is it so slow and choppy on the internet though?

I have the delay set to two, yet the frames seem to go by much quicker in PSP7 than when openining it.

Even on my own computer, if i double-click the .gif, its like this. But when I open it in PSP7, its nice and smooth.

I dun get it..

What kind of computer do you have?

When you run an animated gif ....basically what you have is a series of bmp images all strung together.

It will of course run smoothly in your animation program, your comp has enough processor to handle this.

Running the gif from the internet, your comp has to actually calculate the deltas between each frame. So if your comp isn't "beefy" enough, it will look slow and choppy.

I used to experience this on an old comp with a slow processor.


Not everybody will see your animated gif that way. Matter of fact, for me, it looks just fine!

as for special effects: well you could try a transition effect on the last frame, like Luninance Wipe or Page Turn, set the color to white.

That last archer one is good. Just one thing..

If you have time and you would be so kind, try make one with the new composite bow / aeolus wing model.

I wanna see if that one looks better.

Otherwise, its fantastic!

For the TribesRPG, hmm..

maybe a light comes through each letter, shining really bright. When the light dissapears, the letter it shone behind of will dissapear too. Sorta like the letters drop out one by one, light shining behind each one and the letters dissapearing in the glare.

Is that too hard?

as far as tribes logo....that would look really sweet and prolly be TOO big to download. I mean, you could do the "stained glass" thing like that, but past experience with that is that other folks get cranky about forum thread download time.

If you want you can just forget about everything else, I've given you a hard time with it all.

For my Avatar, make a bow with no background (transparent) that revolves. Just a small little one, transperent background spinnin' around..

I have no program that edits animated .gif files. Could you, perchance, reduce this eyeanim.gif file to be an acceptable size for my avatar? Would do it myself, but as I stated, no program to do it right.

P.S. I might ask you to resize another, no fancy creation or editing, just resizing.
