Can I make models with Milkshape 3D and use them in T2, or is 3D Studio Max a must?

Also, could you recommend any tutorials on making models for Tribes? (Implementation, Special Requirements... etc etc?)

only MAX3.x (ive tested 4 and it's a no-go)

i have a t2 tutorial for a chaingun up at Trinity Armaments ... don't know the exact link off the top of my head but

yup MAX3.x is fine, the plugins don't work with MAX4 (and i haven't gone backward from 3 but we can assume they won't work in 2.x)

they work with character studio 2.2, i haven't tried any other version of CS with them.

nothing definite enough to say yes, but i have the feeling 'soon' ... there's been another release to the meta mod teams, and i _think_ it's going to be a public release very shortly ... but i'm unsure, i might be reading too much between the lines
