Material Based System
Looking at the information Yoshi posted about his mod of TRPG, with the different materials combined to make everything, meaning everything had to be smithed, crafted, etc, I wondered if TRPG would be this way.
If so, then a server would start out truely empty. As the players logged on, they could obtain the required components and begin crafting weapons, armor, etc. This would require specialization, as no one person could do everything well. Hence, you would have an instant player-based economy. I don't know if I thought this up too late, but what do you think about this?
Obviously, some materials would require much skill to obtain, and would be required for the better gear....
