map

not really Sinep, the tribes engine uses maps that are based on a pattern, the whole map is basically a large chunk of terrain repeated many times (this is why you see the Keldrin shadow under the Den)

Yeah your right... Arg... well you could make a 1024x1024 map instead of 256 or 512

But that would mean making a whole new map... :sigh:

well just make a map 4 Tile's (turrain repeated x4).Then start a exec(newmission); create another 4 tile map or just copy and rename another map if you don't want the hassle of making a new turrain.Then just add this to your .mis file.

Add this to your .vol section of the .mis

instant SimVolume "TedFile2" {
fileName = "missions\\name.ted";
};

Add this under the first SimTerrain.

instant SimTerrain "2nd turrain" {
tedFileName = "Name.dtf";
visibleDistance = "600";
hazeDistance = "400";
hazeVerticalMin = "-NAN";
hazeVerticalMax = "1.48573e-38";
perspectiveDistance = "100";
screenSize = "30";
contGravity = "0 0 -20";
contDrag = "0";
contHeight = "1000";
position = "-2910.29 -1138.51 -65.10";
rotation = "0 -3.08031 -2.82422";
terrainType = "flat";
};

Edit the Name and Postion and there you go you got diffrent turrain.

Edit the rotation if you want to make cave's or just have a steap world lol.
