What about the Bard?
If I know how TRPG worked and what the chars were like, I'd DEFINATELY be a bard......
at RL 0:
Endurange, mining, haggling, healing, dodging all increase 2.0 per sp
Weapon skills are 1.3 for slash/bludge, 1.5 for pierce, and something else for archery.
These are the skills which I use....

Ranger (which I am) excels in "useless" skills:
Sense Heading, Archery, Dodging(which raises when u train endurance), and magic sucks big time.

Thats what haggle mining is for....
Even haggle fighting for me....
I sell rusties when i get them, and I can buy Potions whenever i need them (it raised my healing that way too!)

i say that clerics and rangers are the best classes and mage sort of and then there is paladin alot people use that class too bard is not the most popular calss.

Fighter.

You get great endur, dodge, all weapon skills, and decent mining, haggle, etc. All the stuff you need to getexp and money fast. After you get enough of that, remort like mad, and you get ALL skills. Perfect. :-)
